Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Spectres (the "Service"), operated by Spectres ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Spectres is a platform for freelancers that provides tools including, but not limited to, AI-assisted proposal and message generation, invoicing, contract templates, client relationship management, time and expense tracking, and related productivity features.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Spectres offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan, billed monthly in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). Paid subscriptions are processed through our payment partner and renew automatically at the start of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand.

By subscribing to the Pro plan, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may downgrade your account to the Free plan after a grace period if payment is not resolved.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

The Free plan includes specific usage limits (for example, a monthly cap on invoices and a maximum number of clients). These limits are described on our Pricing page and may be updated from time to time, with reasonable notice for material changes affecting paid subscribers.

Contract templates provided through the Service are offered for general convenience and do not constitute legal advice. We recommend having any contract reviewed by a qualified lawyer before use, particularly for high-value or complex engagements.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
• Upload or send content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Spectres and its original content, features, branding, and functionality are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (including client data, invoices, and AI-generated text you customize), and you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for other legitimate business reasons, with notice where reasonably possible.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and templates provided through the Service are offered for general convenience only.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spectres and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost income, lost clients, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
