Refund Policy
We'd rather you know exactly where you stand than bury it in fine print. Here's when a refund makes sense, when it doesn't, and how to actually get one.
The short version
Try Spectres free before you pay anything. If you do subscribe and it's genuinely not for you, reach out within 7 days and we'll refund you. Payments and refunds are handled by Paddle.
Free trial first
Before any card details are involved, you can use Spectres' free trial to explore the dashboard fully. Use it before you upgrade to avoid needing a refund in the first place.
The 7-day window
If you subscribe and decide within 7 days that it's not right for you, email us and we'll refund the payment.
Past the 7-day mark, refunds are handled case by case.
What's covered
You're covered for a refund if:
You cancel within 7 days
No detailed justification needed.
You were charged twice, or charged by mistake
That's on us to fix — fully.
Something on our end genuinely broke
You're owed a refund for that period.
What's not covered
Refunds generally aren't given for:
- Change of mind after the 7-day window
- Partial months after a mid-cycle cancellation
- Forgetting to cancel before renewal
- Heavy usage followed by a refund request
How to request one
Email us at [email protected] with your account email and a quick reason. Expect a reply within 3–5 business days.
How refunds are processed
All payments run through Paddle.com. Approved refunds return to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Cancelling vs. refunding
Cancelling stops future billing and keeps access until your cycle ends. It doesn't automatically mean a refund unless covered above.
Changes to this policy
If we change how refunds work, we'll update this page with a new date.
