Superlek Kiatmoo9

"The Kicking Machine"

RECORD0-0-0 (MMA) / 67+ Muay Thai wins

Biography

Born in Buriram, the northeastern Thai province that has produced some of the country's most celebrated fighters, Superlek Kiatmoo9 grew up surrounded by elite Muay Thai practitioners at the iconic Kiatmoo9 Gym — particularly his uncle, the legendary Singdam. He began competing at 8 years old and developed into the quintessential Muay Femur: a technical, calculating, long-range striker whose right kick and counter left hook have become two of the most feared weapons in global combat sports. By 2012, he had claimed the Lumpinee Stadium flyweight title and was named Sports Authority of Thailand Fighter of the Year. His ONE Championship career reached its apex between 2023 and 2024: he captured the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title, beat Japanese icon Takeru Segawa, stopped the previously dominant Rodtang Jitmuangnon to take the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai title, and then — in a 49-second elbow KO that Joe Rogan called 'perfect' — dethroned Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168 in Denver to become a two-sport, two-division ONE World Champion. He remains one of the most technically decorated Thai strikers of his generation.

WIN

vs. Rodtang Jitmuangnon

ONE Fight Night 21 — Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, BangkokMar 8, 2024

Vector: Masterclass in range management — used a longer jab and right kick to neutralize Rodtang's infamous forward pressure across three rounds

For years fans had debated who would win this dream matchup, and Superlek delivered a tactical gem for an answer. Against arguably the hardest puncher and most relentless pressure fighter in Thai combat sports, Superlek stayed disciplined on the outside — stinging Rodtang with the jab, landing thunderous right kicks to the body and legs, and refusing to get drawn into the brawl his opponent craved. Three judges agreed unanimously, handing Superlek the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title and cementing his pound-for-pound credentials in front of a disbelieving Bangkok crowd.

WIN

vs. Jonathan Haggerty

ONE 168 — Ball Arena, Denver, Colorado, USASep 6, 2024

Vector: A perfectly timed elbow counter shut off the lights on Haggerty in 49 seconds to claim a second world title in a second division

In one of the most-shared moments in ONE Championship's US expansion, Superlek dismantled Jonathan Haggerty in under a minute on American soil. He absorbed a jab, stepped in with a calculated elbow strike that snapped the British champion's head back, and Haggerty crumpled to the canvas. Joe Rogan, watching from home, posted 'Oh my God — perfect elbow' in reaction. The finish earned Superlek the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title, making him a simultaneous two-sport, two-division champion and sending him to global viral fame overnight.

WIN

vs. Takeru Segawa

ONE 165 — Tokyo Dome, JapanJan 28, 2024

Vector: Disciplined long-range kicking game frustrated Takeru in his home arena, earning a statement win on Japanese soil

Fighting in front of a capacity crowd at the Tokyo Dome — arguably the most prestigious venue in Asian combat sports — Superlek delivered a composed performance to defeat Japanese kickboxing superstar Takeru Segawa by unanimous decision. He controlled distance with his signature right kick and maintained the technical discipline that defines the Muay Femur style, refusing to be baited into a wild exchange. Winning in Takeru's backyard, in front of his home fans, was a statement that travelled well beyond Thailand.
