Biography
A living legend of Thai combat sports, Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke — known as 'Kru Rong' — amassed over 350 Muay Thai fights and won multiple Lumpinee Stadium titles in three different weight classes before transitioning to MMA at the age of 35. He made history as the inaugural ONE Strawweight World Champion, becoming the first Thai fighter to win an MMA world title. His explosive knockout power, honed over decades of elite Muay Thai, translated seamlessly into MMA, where seven of his twelve wins came by KO/TKO. After retiring from MMA competition in 2022, he now owns and coaches at Sor Dejdamrong Muaythai in Phuket, passing his knowledge to the next generation of Thai fighters.
